1. Reservation & Deposit
To secure the event date and time, a non-refundable deposit (Retainer) of 50% is required. This deposit covers administrative costs and ensures the date is held exclusively for you. The remaining balance is due no later than 2 days prior to the event date.
2. Cancellation Policy (Client)
In the event of a cancellation by the Client, the following fees apply to compensate for the lost opportunity of re-booking the date:
60+ Days Notice: Deposit is forfeited; no further balance is due.
31–59 Days Notice: 75% of the total fee is due.
30 Days or Less Notice: 100% of the total fee is due.
3. Rescheduling Policy
Life happens, and I want to be flexible. You may request to reschedule the event once with at least 14 days’ notice.
The deposit will be transferred to a new date within 6 months of the original booking, subject to my availability.
If a new date cannot be found or if notice is less than 14 days, the standard Cancellation Policy (Section 2) will apply.
4. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform their obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters), war, government-mandated shutdowns, or other extreme emergencies beyond the parties’ control. In such cases, we will first attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is impossible, any payments made toward the balance will be refunded (excluding the initial deposit).
5. Technical & Site Requirements
The Client agrees to provide a safe and appropriate performance area as discussed during the booking process (e.g., adequate lighting, a flat surface, and access to power if needed). If these requirements are not met and performance is impossible, the full fee remains due.
